Easter Breads! Order NOW!!!

With Easter less than two weeks away, it's time to think about your Easter dinner and what bread you will be serving. Once again, we will have Hot Crossed Buns, Easter Ambrosia and our adorable and yummy Honey Bunnies. We highly recommend that you call in your order soon and pay for it in advance. That way, you can pop in, grab your bread and run. Speaking of grabbing and running, we will have plenty of hostess gifts for you to take with you, if you are a dinner guest this year. Our dipping oils and a loaf of bread are a hit with just about everyone.

We hope to see you soon! Your friends at the Great Harvest in Columbia.

Rain, Rain GO AWAY!!

We aren't going to say it was some diabolical plot to lower bread prices, but really! A little rain after a stretch of sunny days and suddenly no one can set foot outside their home? So.... Sunday, March 25th, we will be open from 7:00 until the bread is gone. Come in early and see what's here.

We hope to see you soon! Your friends at the Great Harvest in Columbia.

More Fun Muffins!

It is definitely the month for fun and new muffins at GH Columbia. Today, we took our Jewish Apple Cake batter, added orange curd and dried cranberries. We came up with an Apple Orange Cranberry Delight. It's very reminiscent of autumn and incredibly tasty.

Don't Forget the Rachel!
Have you had your March Corned Beef yet? Don't forget our limited edition Rachel Sandwich with corned beef, swiss cheese, cole slaw and thousand island dressing. Feel free to substitute turkey. Any way you have up make it, you will not be sad!

More March Treats

As we may have mentioned, we were raised to have meatless Fridays. We know what it's like to suffer through fish, fish and more fish. Seriously! How many fish sticks can a little Catholic girl choke down?

That's why we have found some lovely, meat-free alternatives for your Lenten Fridays. In addition to the regular vegetarian sandwiches and Tuna, we will be making Egg Salad each Friday. And beginning on Tuesday, March 5, we will have Black Bean Burgers.

Of course, we know you love our corned beef offerings in March, too. And we do aim to please. So we have our delicious Rachel Sandwich back on the menu. If you aren't familiar with this tasty delight, we take corned beef and combine it with cole slaw, swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. You can also get it with turkey. Both are FANTASTIC!!!

If Reubens are your thing, you're in luck! On March 16 and 17, we will have our yummy Reuben Bread. We take Rye bread and stuff it with corned beef, swiss cheese and sauerkraut. It's a great addition to soup or a salad for a quick and easy mid-week meal.

Come on in and see what else we have to tempt your taste buds. We hope to see you soon. Your friends at the Great Harvest in Columbia.

It's March, and at GH that means some very special treats! In addition to Irish Soda Bread, we have Chocolate Mint Blarney Cookies and Gouda Stout. Don't despair about your favorites. We're still making Sour Dough! And all the whole grain breads will remain available on their usual days.

Stop by for a taste of March. Winter (if you can even call it that) is almost over! Come get into the GREEN at GH!

We hope to see you soon. Your friends at the Great Harvest in Columbia.
