Menu Update

RED ALERT!!! RED ALERT!!! If you didn't order pies for Thanksgiving, you need to brush your teeth and throw on some clothes and get over here right now! We have some pies available for purchase, but once they're gone, they are gone! Hurry in now!

Scone Change
We have four varieties of scones for you for the remainder of the week; Almond Joy, Cranberry Orange, White Chocolate Cherry and Peach Raspberry. All are a delight. We recommend the Harrowgate Farms Marmalade to go with your scones. We have several varieties to choose from, but we really favor the Peach Orange with Brandy! These marmalades are also fantastic on GH Challah. Tuck them into one of our handled paper bags for a quick, easy hostess gift. You will be an even bigger hit at Thanksgiving than the turkey!

We hope to see you soon! Your friends at the Great Harvest in Columbia.

Gobble Up Some New Taste Sensations

Looking for a change of pace? We have a couple new items to tickle your taste buds. Our Bread Pudding has been a success and it's an easy thing to make in new flavors. This week, we have Orange Cranberry and Apple Pecan. So yummy and really, it is okay to have it for breakfast.

If you're interested in a new bread, try our Swedish Rye. We make it with orange, anise and caraway seeds, and it is heavenly!

Of course, we know you like tradition. Our Thanksgiving sandwich, the Turkey Gobbler is back! If you aren't familiar with it (?), this delightful sandwich couples our fresh sliced turkey breast with homemade cranberry sauce on your choice of bread with all the fixings. We recommend that you try it on our Stuffing Bread.

Be sure to check out our menu on the website for all the details on rolls, pies and more and place your orders now!

We hope to see you soon! Your friends at the Great Harvest in Columbia.

Ode To Pumpkin Swirl

Oh, bread of fall, with filling sweet.
Why are you so good to eat?
Your nutmeg flavor fills my senses.
With autumn visions and romances.
Thursday seems so long in coming.
I bite into you and start humming.
Of falling leaves and air so crisp.
I serve you on a pretty dish.
Oh, bread of fall, with filling sweet.
You are so very good to eat.

Pumpkin Swirl is available Wednesdays this month. Call now to reserve one.

We hope to see you soon. Your friends at the Great Harvest in Columbia.
