Whole Grains! Holy Cow!

By now, you've probably heard of the plethora of pumpkin we will have this month. We have Pumpkin Batter Bread, Pumpkin Bars, Pumpkin Swirl... The list goes on! We sure do love our pumpkin!

But did you know that we have at least two whole grain breads every day? Some days we could have as many as four!

Whole grain breads at GH are so much better than the supermarket breads. Our breads have no additives or preservatives. They start with five basic ingredients; flour, water, salt, sugar and yeast. From there we add other ingredients to make our wonderful, healthy whole grain breads. Our whole grain breads can help you maintain a healthy lifestyle without having to give up bread!

Sourdough: The Perfect Fall Bread

Are you looking for some nice crusty bread to go with all your fall soups and stews? Look no further! Our Sourdough and Parmesan Sourdough are exactly what you need! The are great for serving with soups, perfect for a big, hearty sandwich and are even wonderful on the grill!

Our Sourdough takes a little while to nurture through the baking process so it usually is one of the last breads out of the oven. We have it on Wednesdays in September. Stop by and try some today. Challah for Your Holiday

We can't take anymore orders for holiday bread, but we will have plenty on hand. Stop by nice and early (starting after 10:00 today) and pick up everything you need for a wonderful holiday table. We will have Round Challah with or without Golden Raisins and so many other things for you to choose from!

And don't forget, we have local honey for your apple dipping pleasure, too!
