Summer dinners can be quite a nuisance. Who wants to cook and clean when there is so much to do outside? Well, we at GH have a liberating idea for you. You can declare Sandwich Summer in your home! Feel free to slap PB&J on Old Fashioned White. Grill Ham and Cheese on Cheddar Garlic. Make Open Faced Lasagna on Baguette. Add a salad or some fresh fruit and dinner is ready.
So you know how something breaks and you need a part and the part comes in and it's not the part you needed? Then you have to get another part and wait for that to come in and hope it's the right part. That would be the nutshell version of what's going on with the oven. Wrong part. New one en route. We hope to bake today. But come in and have some coffee and check out the spring cleaning we finally had time to do.

After many years of "loafing" on Mondays, we are finally joining the real working world and we are happy to announce that we are open Mondays! That means a whole extra day every week for sandwiches (hmmm... shrimp salad all summer long), sweets and all the other baked delights we have to offer.
