Many people say the Pepperoni Roll was originally convenient lunch eaten by coal miners in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Take a stick of pepperoni and some cheese, wrap it in bread dough and bake. It didn't require refrigeration and was hearty enough for the appetite of a hard-working miner.
Our Pepperoni and Veggie Rolls are slightly different. We take sliced pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and your choice of banana peppers, sweet peppers (or no peppers) and envelope them in pizza dough. We bake them until they are golden brown. If you can catch them right out of the oven, you may never eat anything else for lunch again. Not a pepperoni fan? Then try a
Veggie Roll. The selection of veggies varies, but they will delight you.
Our Pepperoni Rolls make a great Raven's game time treat, too! Howard County can't go wrong cheering the Ravens with these on the table.

Ode to Pumpkin Swirl
Surely by now you've heard how great the soups and chilis are at GH. But when was the last time you had one of our sandwiches. Truly, we must have the best lunch menu in Howard County.
Unlike some other places with there occasional free coffee, we have free coffee every Friday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Have you tried our coffee? It must be the finest in Howard County! We use freshly roasted coffee from Cafe Pronto, a coffee roaster in Annapolis. Our beans our never more that two weeks out of the roaster. That's much better than those other places.
We're not going to tell you everything we have on the menu this month. But we will reveal a couple treats. We begin our Monday Rye bread rotation with Swedish Rye. It's a little on the sweet side, modeled after Swedish Limpa bread. It's very versatile and we are confident you will like it.
